Julie marks the first feature directed by longtime creative collaborators Nathaniel Brehmer and Quinton Macari III.
Brehmer, who also wrote the screenplay, is a horror journalist and author whose work has appeared in Fangoria, Bloody Disgusting and Dread Central. He is also the bestselling author of Puppet Master Complete: A Franchise History.
Macari, co-founder of 913 Productions, directed and edited the film, bringing more than two decades of filmmaking experience to JULIE and its character-driven approach to horror.
The film is produced by Kristin Macari and Chuck Fusca. Macari, co-founder of 913 Productions, brings a background in marketing, strategy and production leadership, while Fusca, co-founder of MarcoBox Studios, is an actor, writer, director and producer whose work spans independent film and theater.
Together, the filmmakers bring a character-first approach to JULIE's collision of coming-of-age storytelling and slasher horror.
